Settings options under "Functions" > "Actions." Under “Actions,” you can program actions to be triggered by comparing or evaluating sensor values. Actuators can be activated and/or emails can be sent. For example, the system status can be sent via email after booting up or at a specific time each day. A total of 32 actions can be defined.

"General" tab

• Action Enabled / Disabled: This allows you to temporarily disable actions you have created.

• Name: Maximum 20 characters. The name is displayed in the list of actions.

• Description: Provides a more detailed description.

• Delete Action: This button appears after at least one action has been saved.

"Compare" tab

• Select a sensor

Any sensor that has been created can be selected as a reference.

• Condition

Operators: < <= = >= > <>

• Select a reference sensor

You can choose between "Sensor" and "Constant."

• Constant

You can enter values with or without a comma.

• How many seconds must the event last, …

The time, in seconds, during which the condition must be met continuously before the action is executed. Default: 0 seconds.

• Execute only if the value is valid

The operation should be performed only if all operators involved in the comparison return a valid value.

Default: Enabled. This is intended for situations where, for example, the cable connection to a temperature sensor is interrupted. The sensor returns a value indicating the minimum temperature. The condition for the "Heat" action is met, but this makes little sense, since the heating would no longer be turned off.

"Action" tab

• Actuators You can select any actuators that have already been created.

• Actuator Action Choose between: On / Off / Toggle.

• Script to run Optionally, a Linux shell script must be present on the device to be launched by this command. This feature is intended for experts only.

• Run only once If this feature is enabled, the action is executed exactly once when the threshold value is reached. If the switch is disabled, the action is executed continuously (typically 10 times per second). If you only want to send one email, you must set it to “Enabled.”

• Action: Pause (seconds) Default = 1 second. For this duration, the triggering rule is ignored after it is triggered before it is reactivated. It is important to choose a reasonable time here if you intend to send warning emails continuously.

"Email Notification" tab

• Email delivery: Function: Enabled / Disabled.

• Email recipient: Recipient's email address.

• Email Subject: Subject line for the email.

• Email text: Enter the text for the email here.

• Send sensor readings in the body of an email: Selecting the values to be included in the email body.

• Select a sensor: Sensor whose value is to be included in the email text. Displayed only for single values.

"Status Notification Tab"

Email notifications regarding the current system status can be sent. Enabling these notifications prevents other settings for this action from being applied.

• Select status: An email can be sent during bootup or daily to report the system status.

• Shipping time: If "System Status" is selected, you can set a time for daily sending.
