Virtual Sensors
Settings options under “Functions” > “Virtual Sensors”. Virtual sensors offer a wide range of options for displaying values. The output from multiple sensors can also be combined. Virtual sensors can serve as variables. This allows for the creation of complex control networks. The output of a virtual sensor is displayed on the main page in the same way as a “real” sensor. The visual display on the web interface can be suppressed, but the output value can still be used for further operations.
To create a new virtual sensor, click the "+" button.
Sensor Name
This name will be displayed on the web interface. The text field is limited to 20 characters.

• Type of Virtual Sensor You can choose from the following categories: Display, Functions, Operations, Value Calculation, Extreme Values, and Energy. For example: ––System variables: hour, minute, second. ––Arithmetic: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division. ––Logical operators: AND, OR, XOR.
• Unit of measurement Text field where you can enter the unit of the virtual sensor.
• The result is displayed in a new virtual sensor Depending on the type of virtual sensor, you'll have additional options to choose from. In this example, a subtraction is to be performed using the two operands "Meter Reading 1" and "Meter Reading 2." The result is displayed in the new virtual sensor "Difference" on the main page.
Delete this virtual sensor This button becomes available after you save for the first time.
